Warsaw - AFP. A top advisor to the Polish president confirmed on Wednesday that the United States showed "disrespect" to other NATO member states by declaring war on Iran without prior consultation, despite Warsaw's closeness to Donald Trump. In an interview with private radio station 'Zet', he added: "If our transatlantic ally wants European support, then the minimum of respect requires that he should have consulted with them".
Marcin Bredacha, head of the International Policy Office for President Karol Morawiecki, believes that "the situation in the Middle East, primarily caused by decisions of Israel and the United States, could have been subject to prior consultations with allies within NATO".
