Warsaw, Reuters — The Polish government said on Thursday it had thwarted a cyberattack on a nuclear research center and was investigating indications suggesting Iran might be responsible, though it warned these clues could be deliberate misinformation to hide the attackers' true location. Moscow has repeatedly denied any involvement. Poland says it has been the target of numerous cyberattacks since Russia's full-scale invasion of Ukraine began in 2022. Digital Affairs Minister Krzysztof Gawkowski told the private TVN24+ television station that the attack on Poland's National Nuclear Research Center occurred 'in the last few days.' He added: 'The scale of the attack might not have been vast, but it was there.'
