A small drone resembling a toy was discovered on the territory of a military base in northern Poland. The incident occurred on January 28 in the town of Brzeźnica. This information was confirmed by military police representatives, validating an earlier report broadcast by local radio station Radio Zet.
According to Tomasz Wiktorowicz, a spokesperson for the military police, security officers noticed the unmanned aerial vehicle flying over the base. Shortly after being spotted, the device fell onto the roof of a building. The area was immediately secured, and the device was handed over to military police experts for further analysis.
Authorities are currently investigating the origin of the drone. This event highlights the ongoing concerns across Europe regarding unauthorized drone flights over critical infrastructure and military facilities.
