During the interview, Polish Minister of Foreign Affairs Radoslaw Sikorski stated that Poland supports the idea of holding a summit of the countries of the Baltic Sea with Biden's participation. The main theme of the summit will be the security of the region. Sikorski expressed hope that the meeting could take place this or next year and emphasized the importance of coordinating actions among Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, and Estonia, as well as the United States.
The minister also noted that the countries of the Baltic Sea should increase patriotism and civic engagement among their populations to counter the aggressive policies of Russia and protect their interests. Additionally, he emphasized the importance of support and solidarity of NATO in the region.
"It is necessary to actively engage and not leave our partners alone with the problem of security," Sikorski underlined.
