Polish authorities have arrested a student suspected of planning a terrorist attack at a Christmas market. This was announced on Tuesday by Jacek Dubinski, a spokesman for the minister coordinating the country's special services. According to him, the student of the Catholic University of Lublin planned to carry out an explosion and join a terrorist organization. "The goal of the crime was to intimidate many people and support the terrorist organization Islamic State," Dubinski added. The prosecutor's office charged the student with "planning to carry out a terrorist attack that could have led to the death or serious injury of many people".
